How Dermatonik Aesthetic Clinic handles the personal information you share through dermatonik.com, our ads, calls and WhatsApp.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

About this policy

Dermatonik Aesthetic Clinic (“Dermatonik”, “we”, “us”) is an aesthetic clinic at 2nd Floor, 1655, 27th Main Road, opp. NIFT College, 1st Sector, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. We decide how the personal information described here is used.

This policy covers information collected through dermatonik.com and its landing pages, our online forms and quizzes, the forms in our Facebook and Instagram ads, and our calls and WhatsApp messages about your enquiry. How we use cookies is explained in our Cookie Policy.

We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. We also follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as they come into force.

Your consultation and medical records are covered separately

This website does not collect medical records or consultation details. Information about your health, medical history, medicines, allergies and clinical photographs is collected only at the clinic, during your consultation. It is covered by a separate patient consent form that you sign there. That form, not this policy, explains how your clinical information is used and protected.

Please do not send medical details through our website forms or WhatsApp. We will ask for what we need, in person, at your consultation.

Some of our online skin quizzes include a safety question, for example about pregnancy or acne medication. Your answer is checked only inside your own browser so the quiz can suggest a safer option. It is never sent to us or stored.

Information we collect through the website

  • Contact details you enter — your name, phone number, email address, preferred call time and area of Bengaluru.
  • Your enquiry — the treatment or concern you are interested in, your quiz answers about your skin type, goals and age range, and any message you write.
  • Ad details — if you reach us from an ad, the campaign and click codes in the link, the page you came from, and a reference number that stops one enquiry being counted twice.
  • Ad forms — if you fill a form inside a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta passes us the details you submit.
  • Online payments — if you pay for a visit online, our payment provider handles your card or UPI details. We only receive whether the payment went through.
  • Cookies — analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you choose Accept in our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy.
  • Security logs — our hosting provider records basic technical details such as your IP address and browser to keep the site safe.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and call or WhatsApp you to book a visit.
  • To confirm and remind you about appointments.
  • To take payments for bookings.
  • To send you offers and clinic updates, only if you have agreed to receive them.
  • To measure which ads bring enquiries, as explained below.
  • To improve our website.
  • To meet our legal duties and prevent fraud or misuse.

Ad measurement on Meta, Google and ChatGPT

We advertise on Facebook, Instagram, Google and ChatGPT. To know which ads bring real enquiries:

  • On the website — tracking tools from Meta, Google, Microsoft and OpenAI run only after you choose Accept in our cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, they stay off.
  • When you send an enquiry — we may share your phone number or email address with Meta, Google and OpenAI in hashed (one-way scrambled) form, so they can match your enquiry to the ad you saw. We share only these contact details and the fact that you enquired, never health or consultation information.

To stop this for your number: email dermatonik@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 89510 11944 with the phone number you used and the words “Stop tracking”. We will stop sharing that number and email with advertising platforms, and reply to confirm once it is done. Tell us in the same message if you also want us to stop sending you offers.

Your consent

When you submit a form or message us, you agree that we may contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email about your enquiry. We send offers and clinic updates only if you have agreed to receive them.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as easy as giving it: reply STOP on WhatsApp, use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or contact us. Withdrawing does not undo anything we did before, and we may still need to keep some records that the law requires.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the clinic, and only what they need to do their job:

  • Our clinic management and booking software, to book your visit.
  • Our payment provider, to process payments.
  • WhatsApp Business messaging and telephone services, to contact you.
  • Google Workspace, where we store and manage enquiries.
  • Website hosting and technology providers.
  • Advertising platforms (Meta, Google and OpenAI) and Microsoft Clarity, as described above and in our Cookie Policy.
  • Marketing agencies that run our ad campaigns, who may receive enquiry details from forms they manage for us.
  • Other businesses in our group that share our booking and payment systems.

Everyone we share with must keep your information confidential and use it only for the work we give them. We may also share information when the law requires it, with government authorities or courts, or to protect someone’s health or safety.

Where your data is stored

Some of our service providers store data on servers outside India. When that happens, we use providers that protect it to a standard comparable to this policy, and transfers follow Indian law.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that did not lead to a visit — only as long as they are useful for following up with you. After that we delete or anonymise them.
  • Payment records — for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • If you become a patient — your clinical records are kept as your patient consent form explains.

How we protect it

Only team members who need your information can see it. Our systems use password-protected accounts, and our website forms are sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If a breach is likely to affect you, we will tell you, the Data Protection Board of India and CERT-In as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with.
  • Correct, complete or update it.
  • Delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Stop using it for marketing or ad measurement, or withdraw any other consent.
  • Let someone you nominate use these rights for you if you pass away or are unable to.
  • Share this policy with you in English or any language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India.

To use any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (details below). We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian’s consent, and we do not track or target ads at children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as anjalisanghvi.com for scalp micropigmentation, Google Maps and our social media pages. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make important changes, we will post them here and, where needed, ask for your consent again.
