Hyaluronic acid placed to restore structure where age or bone change has taken it — planned around your proportions, and deliberately short of the look that announces itself.
Dermal fillers are gels based on hyaluronic acid — a sugar your skin already produces to hold water — placed at specific depths to restore volume and support the tissue above them.
Facial ageing is not only a skin story. Fat pads shrink and redistribute, and the bone underneath changes shape, so the tissue that used to sit high on the cheek slides down. Treating that with skin-surface work alone will not address it; restoring the support underneath will.
The reason fillers get a poor reputation is over-treatment, not the material. Volume chased in one area distorts the balance of the whole face. Our approach is to assess proportion first, treat the area that is actually driving the change, and stop deliberately short — then review you before doing more.
Deeper, firmer gels rebuild structural support over bone; softer gels sit closer to the surface for fine contour work.
The gel binds water in the tissue, which is part of how the treated area regains fullness rather than simply being pushed outward.
Your body gradually metabolises the gel, so the effect is temporary by design and is topped up by choice, not by obligation.
Assessed, planned and supervised in clinic — never sold from a menu.
The face is planned as a whole, so one area is not corrected at the cost of another.
We treat toward balance and stop short, then review, rather than filling to a trend.
A material your skin already makes, chosen for its handling and its safety record.
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved clinically if an adjustment is needed.
Most single areas are completed in well under an hour.
You are seen again before anything further is added.
Skin renewal — results shown are from Dermatonik's skin-renewal protocols and may reflect a combination of treatments.
Photographs shared with patient consent. Individual results vary; your clinician will set honest expectations at consultation.
Dr. Saeema Shiraaz assesses your facial proportions, medical history and what is actually driving the change you have noticed — volume loss, laxity and skin quality look similar in a mirror and need different answers.
What is appropriate, in what order, and what it will cost is set out before anything begins. You will be told plainly if something is not going to help you.
The area is numbed, and the gel is placed through fine entry points at the planned depth. You will see the shape change during the appointment, with swelling settling over the following days.
Aftercare is explained before you leave, and we review how your skin has responded before deciding the next step.
Dr. Saeema Shiraaz — cosmetologist, and the reason patients stay. Every treatment plan at Dermatonik is built around her judgement, not a sales target.
Every protocol is planned and supervised by Dr. Saeema Shiraaz — no junior staff experimenting on your skin.
We recommend what works for your skin, not whatever's trending — and we'll say so if a treatment isn't right for you.
Honest timelines, real costs, and no pressure to buy packages you don't need.
Filler goes wrong through over-treatment, not through the material. We plan for proportion, treat the area actually driving the change, and stop deliberately short.

How we work
What patients usually ask before their first visit.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary by design. Depending on the product, the area and your own metabolism, most sit in the range of six to eighteen months before gradually breaking down.
That depends entirely on how much is placed and where. Our approach is to under-treat and review rather than chase a result in one appointment, which is what keeps the outcome from announcing itself.
The area is numbed beforehand and most modern gels contain a local anaesthetic. Patients typically report pressure during placement rather than sharp pain.
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme where that is clinically appropriate, which is one of the reasons this class of filler is used.
Expect some swelling, and occasionally bruising, settling over several days. Strenuous exercise, alcohol and heat exposure are best avoided immediately afterwards.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active infection at the site, certain autoimmune conditions and some medications. Your history is reviewed in clinic before anything is planned.
Tell us a little about what you'd like to address. Dr. Saeema Shiraaz will review your message and the team will confirm a time that works for you.
