A newer regenerative option that delivers concentrated signalling material into skin or scalp — offered selectively, and only where your assessment supports it.
Exosomes are tiny vesicles that cells use to carry signals to one another. In aesthetic practice, a concentrated preparation of them is applied into skin or scalp immediately after controlled micro-channelling, so the material reaches the level where it can act.
The theory is straightforward: rather than adding a filler or forcing a wound-healing response with energy alone, this approach aims to influence the signalling that governs repair. In practice it is used most often as a companion to microneedling or laser, where the channels are already open and the skin is primed to take it up.
We would rather be plain about where this sits. Exosome science is an active and fast-moving research area, and the clinical evidence in aesthetics is still developing — it does not yet carry the track record that established protocols do. We offer it as an adjunct within a wider plan, never as a replacement for the treatments that have one.
Fine channels are created so the preparation reaches living tissue instead of sitting on the surface, where nothing of this size can pass.
The concentrated preparation is worked into the treated area immediately, while the channels are still open.
The intent is to support the skin's own repair signalling during the days after treatment, when remodelling is already underway.
Assessed, planned and supervised in clinic — never sold from a menu.
Designed to follow microneedling or laser, when the skin is primed to take it up.
Numbing beforehand, with redness typically settling within a day.
Applied for hair thinning as well as for dull, tired or compromised skin.
Recommended only where your assessment supports it, not as a default upsell.
We tell you plainly that the evidence base here is still developing.
Planned across a small number of sessions and reviewed rather than sold in bulk.
Hair regrowth — results shown are from Dermatonik's hair-regrowth protocols and may reflect a combination of treatments.
Photographs shared with patient consent. Individual results vary; your clinician will set honest expectations at consultation.
Dr. Saeema Shiraaz establishes what is driving your concern and whether an established protocol should be doing this work instead — exosome therapy is recommended as an adjunct, not as a first answer.
What is appropriate, in what order, and what it will cost is set out before anything begins. You will be told plainly if something is not going to help you.
The area is numbed and controlled micro-channelling is carried out, with the exosome preparation worked in immediately afterwards while the channels remain open.
Aftercare is explained before you leave, and we review how your skin has responded before deciding the next step.
Dr. Saeema Shiraaz — cosmetologist, and the reason patients stay. Every treatment plan at Dermatonik is built around her judgement, not a sales target.
Every protocol is planned and supervised by Dr. Saeema Shiraaz — no junior staff experimenting on your skin.
We recommend what works for your skin, not whatever's trending — and we'll say so if a treatment isn't right for you.
Honest timelines, real costs, and no pressure to buy packages you don't need.
The evidence base for exosomes in aesthetics is still developing. We say that out loud, because a treatment sold ahead of its evidence damages trust in everything else on the menu.

How we work
What patients usually ask before their first visit.
They are very small vesicles that cells release to carry signals to other cells. In aesthetic use, a concentrated preparation is delivered into skin or scalp to support the tissue's own repair signalling.
It is an active research area rather than a settled one. The laboratory rationale is sound and early clinical reports are encouraging, but the aesthetic evidence base is still developing, so we position it as an adjunct rather than a headline treatment.
PRP is prepared from your own blood during the appointment. An exosome preparation is a manufactured product applied after micro-channelling. They are used for overlapping concerns, and which one suits you is a consultation decision.
It is usually planned as a short course spaced a few weeks apart, often alongside microneedling, and reviewed as your response shows rather than committed to upfront.
Expect redness and a warm, tight feeling for a day, similar to microneedling. Sun protection afterwards is not optional.
Active skin infection at the site, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and some medical conditions. Your history is reviewed at consultation, and where this is not appropriate for you we will say so.
Tell us a little about what you'd like to address. Dr. Saeema Shiraaz will review your message and the team will confirm a time that works for you.
