A clinically supervised antioxidant infusion, given under medical assessment — positioned honestly as support for skin health, not as a skin-lightening promise.
Glutathione is an antioxidant your body already produces, involved in how cells handle oxidative stress. An IV infusion delivers it directly into the bloodstream rather than through the digestive system.
We want to be straightforward about this one. Glutathione is widely marketed as a skin-whitening treatment, and the evidence behind those claims is far weaker than the advertising suggests. We do not offer it on that basis and we will tell you so at consultation.
What it is reasonably positioned as is antioxidant support, used alongside a proper skin plan — not instead of one. Because it is administered intravenously, it is only given after a medical assessment, and it is not appropriate for everyone.
Your history, medications and suitability for IV therapy are reviewed first. This is a medical route, not a wellness add-on.
The infusion bypasses digestive absorption, which is the practical argument for the IV route over an oral supplement.
Response is assessed as the course progresses, and the plan is adjusted or stopped based on what your clinician observes.
Assessed, planned and supervised in clinic — never sold from a menu.
Given only after review of your history and suitability.
Supports the body's handling of oxidative stress.
A seated infusion of roughly half an hour.
Return to your day straight afterwards.
Administered and monitored in clinic, never unattended.
Offered as support alongside a skin plan, not as a whitening promise.
Skin renewal — results shown are from Dermatonik's skin-renewal protocols and may reflect a combination of treatments.
Photographs shared with patient consent. Individual results vary; your clinician will set honest expectations at consultation.
Dr. Saeema Shiraaz reviews your medical history, current medications and suitability for intravenous therapy before anything is scheduled.
What is appropriate, in what order, and what it will cost is set out before anything begins. You will be told plainly if something is not going to help you.
The infusion is given seated, over roughly half an hour, and you are monitored throughout by clinical staff.
Aftercare is explained before you leave, and we review how your skin has responded before deciding the next step.
Dr. Saeema Shiraaz — cosmetologist, and the reason patients stay. Every treatment plan at Dermatonik is built around her judgement, not a sales target.
Every protocol is planned and supervised by Dr. Saeema Shiraaz — no junior staff experimenting on your skin.
We recommend what works for your skin, not whatever's trending — and we'll say so if a treatment isn't right for you.
Honest timelines, real costs, and no pressure to buy packages you don't need.
They were upfront that this isn't a whitening treatment, which honestly made me trust the rest of their advice more.

What patients usually ask before their first visit.
We do not offer it on that basis. Glutathione is widely advertised for skin-whitening and the evidence for that use is weak. If pigmentation is your concern, an in-clinic skin analysis will point you toward pigmentation care that has better support behind it.
It is administered only after a medical assessment, in clinic, under supervision. As with any intravenous therapy there are risks, and there are people for whom it is not appropriate — which is exactly what the assessment is for.
A course is planned and then reviewed with your clinician as it progresses, rather than sold as a fixed package upfront.
You can, and for many people that is the more sensible starting point. The argument for the IV route is absorption; your clinician will tell you honestly whether it is worth it in your case.
Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with certain medical conditions or on particular medications, and anyone whose assessment raises a concern. This is decided in clinic, not over the phone.
No. It is support alongside a plan, and we would rather you spent on the plan first if you had to choose between the two.
